Dr. Chad Imanaka is a compassionate psychiatrist and brain specialist at Brain Health Hawaii, bringing a wealth of experience from his roots in Hilo on the Big Island. His prior role at West Hawaii Community Health Center provided telehealth care to underserved communities, reflecting his dedication to accessible wellness.
Dr. Imanaka graduated from the University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine and the ‘Imi Ho‘ola Post Baccalaureate Program, completing his psychiatry residency at Queens Medical Center. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola Marymount University.
With a heartfelt commitment to meeting patients where they are, Dr. Imanaka fosters a collaborative environment, empowering individuals to take control of their health through integrative approaches targeting exercise, nutrition, sleep, and mindfulness. His expertise helps patients achieve their best selves with unwavering support.
In his personal time, Dr. Imanaka finds balance through family, fishing, photography, plant cultivation, breath work, and meditation as a Reiki Level II Practitioner, aligning his life with his holistic philosophy of healing.
